CORPORATE SKATEBOARDING

Lately there has been a campaign against sporting goods companies that are raping the industry. Lealta supports this idea, but the argument is flawed when the same companies that are against these industry giants use a similar corporate model. They still use t-shirt fabrics that were assembled in Asian sweatshops and their shoes are not made in fair trade conditions. Why boycott sporting goods companies and instead support so-called “non-corporate” skateboard brands that still use the same sweatshop labor in Korea, China, India and Pakistan?

Lealta isn’t in the business of smearing other companies. We simply believe in letting the consumer know where their products are coming from and actually standing by our ideals.
